Submitting Evidence

Depending upon the condition the Appraisal District thinks your property is in, photos of structural or deferred maintenance issues may prove helpful.  We want the bad stuff or dated things to show lack of recent updates.

Many of the homes that sell near you may have been recently rehabbed and we need to be able to show your property hasn’t.  So pictures of an older kitchen or baths (think avocado appliances, Formica countertops, pink bathroom fixtures, etc.), cracks in the walls, ceilings or driveways, old dated wallpaper, peeling paint, foundation problems, lack of landscaping, etc.  NO Glamour shots, the uglier the better!

The value date is January 1st so we need the picture to be taken relatively close to that.  We also need your assurance that the picture is a true indication of the issue on January 1st of the year submitted.  If it was repaired prior to January 1st we can’t use it.  If it was repaired anytime after January 1st we can.

All we ask is that you send it to us in a single attachment with the property address and or CAD account number on each page.  We’ve found that a Word document is the easiest method to deal with because you can drag your pictures onto a page and resize them to fit two to four pictures per page.  We don’t care if it’s one page or ten, but it has to be in an attachment that we can open with a single click!  You can send it by email to CustomerService@PropertyTaxManagers.com or drop them in the mail to us at P.O. Box 12053, Dallas, TX  75225-0053.
